ब्रेकिंग: नीट पेपर लीक कांड की जांच सीबीआई को सौंपी गई

The Ministry of Education has handed over the investigation of irregularities in the NEET exam to the CBI. Additionally, the NEET PG exam scheduled for June 23 has been postponed, with new dates to be announced later. This follows persistent demands from the opposition for a thorough investigation by the central agency. The NEET (UG) exam was conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on May 5, 2024, in OMR (pen and paper) mode. Alleged cases of irregularities, fraud, impersonation, and malpractice have emerged. To ensure transparency, the Ministry decided to entrust the detailed investigation to the CBI. The government has also enacted the Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024, to curb unfair practices and related offenses in public exams. The government is committed to maintaining the integrity of examinations and protecting students’ interests, reiterating that strict action will be taken against anyone found involved in such malpractices.
